Project Stakeholders
The following have been identified as project stakeholders
- Business AnalystBusiness analysts typically work with the customer to capture the needs of the customer both as individual requirements, use-cases.
The business-analyst is normally responsible for producing the Vision document and Software Requirements Specification documents.
- Release ManagerThe release manager is resposible for defining and maintaining the scope of a particular release and assessing impact of changes
to the release scope. Typically the release manager makes the final decision of whether a particular feature, change request
or defect will make it into the scope of a particular release.
- System TesterUser who requires requirements information for test purposes.
- ArchitectRepresents the architect/designer of the technical solution that realises the requirements.
- DeveloperRepresents the developer of the technical solution that implements the requirements.
- CustomerRepresents the client/customer who will be taking delivery of the software or service described by the requirements. Typically
they work with the business analysts to develop the requirements and - in commercial environemnts - are responsible for signing
off key requirement artefacts such as the vision document and SRS .
- Xuse userThese are people who use and possibly extend Xuse for use within their own enterprises. It is distinct from business-analysts
as business-analysts are more general users, whereas xuse-users are expected to be those people that install, maintain and
extend Xuse.
